Mendokoro Honda was founded in February 2008 in Higashi-Jujo by Honda Yuki, who was just 21 years old, earning him the title 'young genius of the ramen world.' Honda worked part-time at a ramen shop during high school, then trained under Tashiro Koji of the Menya Koji Group, a direct disciple of the legendary Yamagishi Kazuo of Taishoken. In 2020, the shop relocated to Akihabara where Honda completely revamped the entire menu. His refined shoyu and tori-based broths, paired with exceptional tsukemen, showcase unusual sophistication.
