Raa Men Sugimoto was founded on December 15, 2013 in Saginomiya by Sugimoto Kosuke, recognized as the last disciple personally acknowledged by the late Sano Minoru. Sugimoto trained for three and a half years under Sano, absorbing the master's fanatical dedication to ingredient sourcing. The shop later relocated to Aobadai in Yokohama, with a second branch in Marunouchi. The restaurant features pure, refined broth with house-made noodles.
